Excercise

Normally I’m not into indoor climbing, that’s Olivia’s thing. I prefer trees, big trees. But since I can’t climb my trees in the courtyard, I decided to try my luck with the bookcases…

I considered climbing further up…

But then - of course - the pawparazzi caught me…

and then I had to get out of there (that’s Sam in a blur).

P.s. The Humans have been on their best behaviour since we threatened them with our attorney, Jens. No wonder; he’s a pretty tough mouse!

Another Visitor

Filed under: Both, Kittens, Summer house — tt @ 12:23 pm

This weekend we were relaxing in our garden, enjoying another wonderful autumn day. Minding our own business.

Cliff is hiding behind the valerian. (We don’t have a name for the turtle. Perhaps some of our friends could help?)

Sam was relaxing too…

But then all of a sudden this pretty little creature came by. We are not sure where she came from, but we suspect the Humans had something to do with it.

She’s called Peanut because she’s so tiny - hope you can tell from the picture. She lives across the street from our summer house and she only moved in a few weeks ago.

She talked with Cliff. And he seemed to find her very charming.

As you can tell by the fact that he let her get very close to Sam.

Look how small she is. But despite her size she’s not afraid of much. She even went inside and had a little conversation with Olivia.

Then she went home (one of the Humans carried her back to her home) and we could get on with the relaxation :-)

Olivia and Albert

Filed under: Kittens, Olivia, Summer house — tt @ 5:16 pm

A while back we posted about four kittens, Albert, Cirkeline, Pippi and Ferdinand. Pippi and Ferdinand even payed us a visit. Now they all live down the road at the summer house with some more cats and three big, noisy dogs - nice dogs by the way because they really like cats :-)

They’ve grown very fast during the summer and now they’re very brave and curious young cats. They walk where ever they want and often visit our humans when they’re out in the big garden. The other day Albert came by to visit all by himself.

Look at him now. Quite a handsome little fellow.

He was so brave and curios that he persuaded the humans to let him into our paved yard (Cliff was out back in the garden yard and was oblivious to the whole affair) but I had a nice time with Albert. He’s very gentle and quiet. He stayed with us for a while and then he went home.

I hope to see him again soon.

The Trojan Mouse

Filed under: Both, Cliff, Kittens, Summer house — tt @ 2:16 pm

We were at the Summer House this weekend. The weather was really nice and sunny and everybody was relaxing. Then Sunday around noon, something strange happened: A giant blue mouse arrived in our coutryard. The Humans seemed to think it was OK, so we decided to investigate. The mouse smelled really nice, so we sniffed it and sniffed it. That’s when we discovered it was hollow! AND there were aliens inside!!!! Look…

How could the Humans have let this happen? There were two of them in there, but they didn’t stay inside the mouse. Pretty soon they were all over the place…

This one looks like a tiny little tiger and when I tried to get a little bit closer, I learned that she certainly has the heart of a tiger. She’s not afraid of anything, not even a big mancat like me…

And she’s clever too, it didn’t take her long to get into the house and find the litter box - and our food :-) Here she is again…

This second one is really sweet too. He’s like me, he doesn’t like fighting. I think, judging by his hindlegs, that he’s going to grow up to be a big handsome mancat. And guess what - he’s a tail chaser! Look…

And he’s really cute too…

I have to admit I really like them - I even let the little tail chaser eat my food. The Humans were amazed. I don’t know why. He’s so tiny and he needs to eat so he can grow up to be a big mancat like me. They’re fun to watch and I’m sure if I’m careful and calm around them we’ll be the best of friends.

I’m rather doubtfull about what Olivia thinks of them. She wasn’t unkind to them, not at all, but I think maybe she was a bit scared of them, so she mostly stayed in the house and watched them from there.

Eventually they left in the big blue mouse again. The Humans say that they’ll probably visit us again. I hope they will, they’re kinda cool!

Purrs,

Cliff

Kittens

Filed under: Both, Kittens — tt @ 12:50 pm

The kittens have been named. So we’d like to present them properly.

This little beauty is Cirkeline. She’s very brave and was the first of the kittens to go outside. She’s going to stay with her mother (and the other cats and the three dogs).

This is Albert. He’s super cute and loves to cuddle. When he’s big enough to leave his mom, he’s going to live down the road with some very nice humans and equally nice cats.

Last, but not least, here is Pippi (left) and Ferdinand (right). They are the best of friends and are always together, so if they are moving to a new home they are staying together. We think that’s good to know. Just imagine if we couldn’t be together. Pippi is good at climbing and not afraid of anything. She’s the smallest of the litter. Ferdinand is the biggest and he lives in a world of his own. The Woman says he’s a little daydreamer and very sweet.

So it looks like they’re all staying around and we can watch them all grow up.

Kittens

Filed under: Kittens — tt @ 7:43 pm

We think it’s time to present the kittens - and post some more pictures of them of course. There are four of them. There’s two little boy kittens and two little girl kittens. They aren’t named yet, but we’ll post as soon as they are.

The kitten in the picture we posted yesterday is a beautiful little boy. He is the largest of the litter and loves hanging around in the milk bar. He stays close to his mother and isn’t as adventurous as the others but he’s super cute and loves to cuddle. Here’s another picture of him…

Next up is one of the girls. She’s the smallest of the litter and she’s so sweet. She’s cuddly and, as you can see, extremely photogenic…

Here’s another girl. She’s got slightly longer fur than the others and beautiful colours. She’s not afraid of anything and very curious about the world.

And last but not least here’s the little ginger boy kitten. He loves belly rubs and cuddles and likes being around humans. He’s a charmer…

And here’s their gorgeous mum Mini…

We’ll be back with more pictures soon.
