The Windowsill
This is Olivia reporting from the freezing cold of northern Europe.
Because of the cold we have to stay inside and in the city. It’s fine with me because it gives me time to explore the many different places a cat can take a nap in our apartment. And today I discovered a new place which is now officially my favourite.
It’s the windowsill beside the Woman’s desk. Until recently some plants lived there. But one of them died because of the combination of central heating inside and icy cold outside. The other one was moved. So now there’s a nice soft pillow for me.
I’m making the most of it. Not only can I enjoy the sun here, I can also watch the gulls (the only birds around here who brave the cold).
There is one thing I have to say though: Hey Humans! Why don’t you clean the windows?! Soon!!
This was Olivia, reporting live from the windowsill in Copenhagen, Northern Europe.
(The Humans: Olivia, we’re glad you enjoy your new spot. The windows will be cleaned… when the temperatures are once again above 0C!)

I hope you can keep warm, we’ve been cold too in the southern U.S. Have a great weekend!

That’s a very good new spot, Olivia! Our windows need cleaning badly too. The humans have all kinds of excuses, don’t they.

We don’t like cold either. Our POND FROZE, that so isn’t suppose to happen. We thinks you found a good spot to spend the winter though Olivia we liked the view.

That looks like a fabulous location, Olivia! It’s a frozen wasteland farther south in Europe too, at least where we are in France!

Olivia, you have a pawsome napping location! Looks like it gets pretty good sunbeams too!

The windowsill looks like it is ideal for you now during the winter.

my boyz probably have the same complaint about the cleanliness of our windows. my only excuse is a lot of the reason the windows aren’t clean is because they have these lil kitty nose prints on them…

In my opinion you look much more decorative on the window sill than a plant ! My cats too stay inside it has snowed quite a lot for Belgium and the temperatures dropped til - 11°C here in Brussels ! Only Kim likes it outside and I promoted to a litter box cleaner ! Don’t mind about clean windows as long as you can see the seagulls it’s OK !

Olivia-you so accent that window sill well! Beauty all around. And good you told the humans about the windows–Tommy has that same little issues too. Must be in their blood…
Nice view and pretty kitty!

Great window side reporting Olivia! Our windows are dirty too…mom and dad are apparently too busy to care.

Great reporting, Olivia! Maybe you can get a job reporting on the Weather Channel:)

A pillow and a view, and your human staff nearby — that’s pretty much an ideal setup you have, Olivia. Stay warm…
