Sunday Reporting: Looking for Spring
Winter has been here for long enough. But it doesn’t look like it’s going to end. Ever. So for my Sunday reporting I sent the Humans out to look for Spring.
I wasn’t too optimistic when they showed me this. No sign of spring.
But look! Who’s that fellow to the right? I made the Humans approach.
Oh no. It’s mister Winter. He’s still here. It looks bad. Very bad. I urged the Humans on and on. And look. Finally a glimmer of hope.
They look bruised and battered, but they’re here! There’s hope, friends.
Now I think I’ll close my eyes and hold my breath until the snow is gone and Spring is here.
Olivia
PS: My look in the picture is also known as: “Go away with the flashy box, Human!”

oh no Olivia, you could be purple!
Better to breath and go to a comfortable place to take a nap!
CUTE…you are so beautiful!
I also loved that snowman, he is funny!
Great post my friends!

I love winter, you know! where I am living it’s cold even in summer! there is days with 36°C and days with 17°C! I swear! this is because my city is located on the mountais, but I love it! sun, sun, sun! “he” is the best, but a little cold is sooooo good too!
ok, ok! spring is bad for my allergy, but I love flowers too!
have a great day, dear, and tell to the humans and Cliff that I sent a kiss!

Olivia, you could be the poster cat for the “Go away with the flashy box, Human!” club.
You are so lucky to see green things starting to pop out of the ground!

Your beans should have punched Old Man Winter right in his carrot! Don’t hold your breath for too long or your pretty whiskers will turn red:)

Comment by The Crew — February 23, 2010 @ 7:24 pm
If your folks find spring, can they please send us directions on how to get there?
Comment by jansfunnyfarm — February 24, 2010 @ 3:20 am
Hi Olivia. It was smart of you to send your people out to look for Spring. Meowmy saw a tiny yellow crocus in our yard today and daffodil noses peeking up through the snow alongside the house, so maybe Spring will come soon. You sure don’t like your picture taken with the flashy box, do you?! We usually don’t squinch up our faces so well, we just look away and spoil the picture.
