Finally (something like) Spring
Today - according to the calendar - it’s spring. It doesn’t look like spring. The winds are blowing and snow is coming down from the skies. But we know it’s spring. Because we were at the summer house this weekend. And we saw spring… look…
When we arrived everything was white, but the Humans said it was thaw, so the snow would disappear soon. There was a lot of snow on our terrace and we don’t like that much snow - much too cold. But the Woman shovelled it all away! So we could go outside and look for spring. And it was there; birds were singing and building nests, the sun was shining, little green things were sprouting from the earth.
We were both outside in our courtyard. There were lots of snow there too, but Olivia braved it to go and sit on her favourite stone…
Temperatures were above zero all weekend so we could stay outside for a long time. We didn’t sleep for most of the night; we just sat and snoopervised night creatures outside the house. It was good to be back. The Humans seemed to think so too. So we spent the Sunday relaxing…
The Humans took pictures of course - and even videos (we’ll post some later). But they’re not always that clever with a camera. This is me, Cliff, running from evil snow…
Can’t wait to go back.
Cliff & Olivia

Wow, good pics…you sure spring is here???

We’re so glad you got to go to the summer house! But it’s hard to think it’s spring with all that white stuff still around!

It’s the start of Autumn here in Australia. I’m not overly happy about that.

Actually, that last picture of Cliff is very cool! As for the portrait of Olivia - just lovely!
Isn’t it wonderful to feel that spring might be not too far away?!

We love your Summer House! It was such a good idea of your humans to build this garden for you. No surprise you like it that much. After the bad storm we had the temps have dropped again. Right now it’s pouring down with rain. We’re unfazed by that though, because Spring is definitely just around the corner.

We’re so glad you got to spend time at your summer house. It’s nice that you got to explore in the snow a little too. Snow is most enjoyable when you know spring is on its way. Great pictures!
